Episode Guide Part 1

Hey all who don't read this. This is something that was kinda helping me get clear on a few things in terms of structure and where the hell i am going with Nowhere Land but it is also very much like an epsidoe guide so as and when i get the story ideas down and i am happy with them i will post them, so here is the first two episodes kinda outlined.

Episode #101: PILOT
Suffering from writers block, mourning the destruction of his relationship with the woman he loves and facing a deadline for his second novel, a follow up to a number one bestseller, Jack Burton is not a happy chap. His agent, feeling pressure from the publishers sends Jack to a small town called Hope Falls, it is hoped that this place will act as a retreat for him, allowing him to clear his mind and write his new book. But if his first night in Hope Falls is anything to go by, no matter how clear his mind may be of his life, it is about to be crammed full with everything this strange town has to show him.

With a chance meeting with a long lost friend and his subsequent death, Jack Burton, mistaken Private Investigator and star of a novel written by him that he has found in his trailer that is writing itself, reluctantly teams up with the local ‘sheriff’. Detective Inspector Jessica Jones invites him get to the bottom of the death, but she is keeping secrets from him about the death, that Ben Murphy (Jack’s friend), is the tenth victim. Secrets that haunt the town after dark, secrets that howl as they stalk the night.

Episode #102: The Broken
Jack defends his trailer from the ‘Howlers’ after he is marked for death like his friend was. Jessica examines evidence that Jack has brought to life and finds herself going back to when these murders first begun.

It is morning and Jack is packing his car and getting ready to leave. Jessica arrives to tell him what she has found and Jack hands over everything to her including the mysterious book that is writing itself. He tells her he cannot stay, that he values his life and that he has a book to write. Jessica looks into the mysterious book and finds that it is blank.

Jack attempts to leave the town but his car is forced off the road and it crashes. Upon waking he meets a group of people who call themselves the Burning Tree Collective and that they need Jack to stay, that he was brought here for a reason and that reason is to save the town. One of the members, Kirk Harrison takes Jack around the Hope Falls Historical Society and explains what he can of the town.

Jessica is ordered by her father the mayor of Hope Falls to relinquish any files and paperwork pertaining to the ten deaths that have occurred in the past year and hand them over to the city. She does, but keeps a journal found at the latest crime scene that indicates that a meeting has been set up for this very night.

Jack makes his way back into the town and stops off a café as it is getting dark to call Jessica for a lift. There he meets Mary, wife of Kirk, she is the victim of domestic abuse and attempts to hide it. But Jack can’t help but notice, she looks very familiar, she looks very much like Melissa.
