Stupid

Basically I feel stupid today. Not gonna go into details but i feel stupid. Should have done some writing today but didn't. Didn't do anything and i feel stupid for it.

Ever felt stupid?

Ever wanted to just be able to view how stupid you really are and come over and slap yourself in the face and say 'hey, stop being stupid!'?

I have.

Wanted to do it today.

Nowhere Land continues...

Now with added titles!

BEWARE HOWLERS!
New day, new post. Not done much writing for a couple of days, but when i last wrote it was a cool session. Was writing episode two and nearly have the first act complete which is great progress for a change. I'm just waiting to hit a brick wall now. Been writing quite prolifically these past few months and I just can't help but think it is all too good to be true. Its especially cool due to the fact that I have been working my ass off at stupid musiczone, it is a surprise that i have actually gotten anything done.

Thing with working in a music shop, that also sells a handful of games and a shed load of DVDs and cracking prices i might add, is that you really do see a wide range of idiots. And people of course. You get the nice people who like what they like and have liked it for ages, stuff they have grown up with etc. I can respect that, i can respect the dad rock crowd, the classical crowd, the fucking country crowd. You know, each to there own. What i cannot stand is the fucks who buy into whatever is fashionable. The fucks who read NME for adivce on what they should like. Should. fuck should, like what you like, don't fucking listen to what you are told to like, because what you are being told to like by fucking journalists is stuff that they have been paid a large amount of cash to say is cool. Its not fucking cool. James Blunt, Keiser Chiefs, fall out fucking boy, arctic fucking monkeys, fucking my chemical fucking romance and all that fucking reality tv shit that fucking oozes itself into the mainstream. Fucking hate all of that. it is commercial toss and should not be considered as music. Music by definition, at least by my understanding is art form. But just like everything in this fucked up world it has been bastardised. And i'm a weirdo for liking stuff that i have made my own mind up to like.

The worst offenders are those that think they are unique and amazing for liking shit like Fall Out Boy. they come in the fucking shop with their army of tight jean wearing mindless toss bags mumbling to themselves as their chains swing in the breeze of the hot air they spout. 'Oh they will not have fall out boy in here, there is no way.' No way? We have 15 million fucking copies of it because it is popular because the fucking radio and fucking kerrang said it was fucking popular. These same fucks, when quized on what they like will tell you and then say, 'oh you wouldn't have heard it'. Bollocks. If you look like the rest of the fucking 'alternative' crowd that exists out there i have fucking heard it and i don't wanna fucking hear it anymore.

Dangers of working in a music shop...

Anyway, writing. Here is an update on my shit.
Nowhere Land: episode pilot thing done, synopsis is done too, need to get a character bio done and maybe an outline done, then get a fucking printer.

One Man and His Axe: Re wrote this, need an ending though and i am gonna send it off to some short script writing contest.

Laughing Gas: Well looky who has decided to show its ugly head again. Yep, gonna tackle this at some point, will get a new title i think and become a novella. That is the plan.
Thats it, my arm hurts and i have to go back to work for a fucking meeting. yay me.

CURRENT MOOD: If you have read this entry you can fucking work it out for yourself.
CURRENTLY LISTENING TO: Porcupine Tree 'Stupid Dream'
FILM: King Kong, fuck you i liked it!
TV: Surface, getting great and ending soon, which sucks.
COMICS: LEGION, fucking great stuff. Bendis, anything by Bendis, give it to me - reading Jinx at the moment and it rocks like a motherfucker!

BACK IN BLACK

Sorry, its a crap title I know, but basically got bored with the shitnes of how this place looked. It doesn't look amazing really now, but it looks a little more attractive in black, than it did, white and fucking orange.

Couple of bits of news...

Nowhere Land: The first episode is done completely now, did another grammer, proof read check thing yesterday and it seems to be complete and ready to go.

Episode 102, or the second episode is now in the writing stages. A couple of hand written drafts have been completed which is cool. Now i have just started scripting it.
What i plan on doing is sending the first episode out with a synopsis of the show, plus maybe a rough outline as to where the show is going and the first act of episode two.

Nowhere Land #102 'The Broken'
Stuck inside his trailer with Howlers outside Jack tries to justify to himself why he must leave Hope Falls. Meanwhile Jessica begins to make connections between Ben Murphy's death and that of her friend who died a year ago.

I think it is a better story than episode one and i quite love episode one.

Anyways, take it easy, and fuck off, will be back soon...

OK, here i am with another post. Random and sparadic they may be, but what do you care, you don't read this thing anyway.

Anyways, been busy slogging my guts out in a shit shop that sells shit things, wasting money on ebay and writing my ass off.

Got a few projects on the go, aside from Nowhere Land which is fucking done, yay me, i am writing a short to enter into the British Short Screenplay Competition, website alludes me at the moment, but i shall be doing that and writing episode two of Nowhere Land. Also been attempting to print stuff off, which is hard WHEN YOUR PRINTER DOESN'T FUCKING WORK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Got a bit mad about that.

Anyway, here is the synopsis for Nowhere Land and some crap that will hopefully sell the show a little and give an idea as to what it is all about. Gonna send this off with the script as well a rough outline of how the show pans out.

Nowhere L a n d
It has been a year since Jack Burton’s first novel was published and climbed its way to the best seller list. It has been a year since the woman he loved left him alone. It has been a year since he has written anything.

With pressure mounting from his agent and in turn the publishers for a follow up book, Jack is sent on a writers retreat to a small town called Hope Falls in the hope that the seclusion from the city and his life might allow and help him to write a great follow up and beat the writers block.

Upon entering the town Jack is mistaken for the new Private Investigator and is drawn into the death of an old friend who has had his heart removed.

Who or what killed his friend and how is Jack connected to it and why is his imagination coming true?

Author Jack Burton, suffering writers block, finds himself stuck in his new book that he hasn’t even written yet. The only way out is to find the ending.

Nowhere Land is a one hour, eight part mystery drama series in the vein of ‘Twin Peaks’ and ‘Lost’, that deals with suspense, intrigue, horror, comedy and romance, everything that every writer goes through when they sit down in front of the keyboard.
